NIRO bringt Nachhaltigkeit ins Netzwerk
Beim Jahrestreffen des Programms „go-cluster“ wurde NIRO am 20. Oktober 2022 mit seinem Beitrag „Nachhaltigkeit ins Netzwerk bringen“ zum ClusterERFOLG 2022 gewählt. Der goldene Buddy-Bär wohnt jetzt in Unna.

NIRO implementiert Nachhaltiges Lieferantenmanagement
Mit dem Projekt „Nachhaltiges Lieferantenmanagement nach DNK-Standard – ein Einkaufspool auf dem Weg zum Nachhaltigkeitsbericht“ (kurz NaLiMa), das vom Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz zur „Förderung von Modellprojekten zur Entwicklung zukunftsweisender Clusterkonzepte und neuartiger Geschäftsmodelle" im Rahmen des Programms „go-cluster" gefördert wurde, konnten die Lieferanten des Einkaufspools nachhaltiger aufgestellt werden.
Die Ergebnisbroschüre inspiriert andere, sich auch auf den Weg zu machen.

Ein Höhepunkt im Jubiläumsjahr: Der NIRO-Stammtisch
Im Jubiläumsjahr trafen sich am 5. Mai 2022 alte Hasen, erfahrene Netzwerker*innen, Wegbegleiter*innen und jüngerer Nachwuchs, um in Erinnerungen zu schwelgen, aber auch an Heute und Morgen zu denken.

15 Jahre NIRO
Am 2. November 2006 wurde NIRO gegründet. Zum 15. Geburtstag beginnt im November 2021 ein Jubiläumsjahr, das viele besondere Veranstaltungen und Aktivitäten bereithält.

Zur 15. Mitgliederversammlung, die am 11. November 2021 bei Wilo in Dortmund stattfand, gab es standesgemäß eine große Geburtstagstorte.

Eight companies from the district of Unna, the city of Dortmund and the city of Hamm break through boundaries and open up a whole new form of collaboration: In a close network, they wanted to exchange experience and resources, coordinate procurement, work together in developments, complement one another when tapping international markets. So they founded the “Netzwerk Industry RuhrOst e.V” association on 2 November 2006. 

The new merger of companies from the metal, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering industries is the result of two years’ work by “KompetenzCentrum Fabrikautomation” (Excellence Centre Factory Automation) project initiated by Wirtschaftsförderung Kreis Unna (Business Development, District of Unna).
