Whether "digitalisation", "Industry 4.0" or "Industrial Internet of Things" – all terms stand for the digital transformation of the economy. The world is becoming increasingly smarter and the companies of the future are digital, even virtual. Everything is becoming networked. What exactly does this mean for industrial companies and for the markets in which they operate? The member companies address this topic in the meetings of the various working groups, which repeatedly deal with growing digitalisation processes.
The aim at NIRO is to provide space for inspiration, to develop concrete ideas and to jointly define the necessary steps for practice-oriented implementation. Companies need to digitise sensibly step by step in order to position themselves for the future.
