Purchasing
Ever since NIRO was established in 2006, its member companies have been working towards creating a common purchasing strategy. Many purchasing managers and buying agents have joined countless negotiating groups to spearhead the push for a select number of topics - spanning a comprehensive range from data acquisition to negotiations and the conclusion of framework agreements.
The Task Force Purchasing was set up to present results and arrive at joint decisions. The close cooperation of this work group produced attractive framework agreements with various suppliers that afford the member companies of NIRO a host of purchasing advantages. When selecting their suppliers, NIRO puts the aspects of reliable partnership and exceptional service front and centre.
The increasing digitalisation of purchasing is addressed and taken into account at NIRO. NIRO supports its member companies in the introduction of e-procurement in order to be able to use advantages such as the transparency of processes and the security provided by guaranteed net prices.
The continuous exchange of experience on digitalisation processes in the member companies and other current topics also plays an important role for the purchasing managers.
